Job description

Private practice Non-Invasive cardiology openings in Western Massachusetts - Non-invasive - $500K guarantee first year

Key Highlights:

  1. First-year guaranteed floor compensation of $450,000 with no production component in year one as you build the practice. Long-term earnings potential and compensation structure will be discussed directly with the group.
  2. First-year recruitment bonus of $50,000, with $25,000 paid at signing and $25,000 at the end of the first year of employment.
  3. Outstanding 401K (funded 100% by the group) and a separate profit-sharing plan starting in year 2. Most providers elect for the IRS allowable maximum funding.
  4. Practice call frequency is 3 times per month, including 6-7 weekends per year, covering 2 local hospitals with physician and APP backup coverage.

About the group:

  1. Physician-owned private practice single-specialty cardiology group seeking Non-Invasive physicians.
  2. Openings available immediately or for a 2025 start date. The group is growing and doing some succession planning.
  3. Very stable group established in 1971.
  4. Partnership after 2 years, allowing physicians to partake in the group’s compensation model and enjoy 4 extra days of vacation.
  5. Group comprises 12 physicians, 12 APPs, and 125 employees, with 2 offices located 4 blocks apart, attached to local hospitals for convenience.
  6. Full-service cardiology practice with 30,000 active patients and growing.
  7. Offers a full suite of cardiac testing, including Stress Testing, Cardiac Monitoring, Nuclear, Echocardiography, and Vascular Testing, available Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm.
  8. Starting programs for Cardiac PET and mitral clips; already providing EP cardiology and TAVR services, with high community demand for additional EP services.
  9. Competitive base salary, PTO, full benefits, negotiable relocation package, and J-1 visa sponsorship via the MA Conrad 30 program.
  10. Uses EPIC EMR.
  11. Supports a collegial and supportive work environment.

  1. Located in Western Massachusetts with a city population of 153,000 and a service area of over 400,000.
  2. 90 minutes from Boston, less than an hour to Worcester, 2.5 hours to New York City, with Hartford, CT, only 30 miles away and accessible via Amtrak.
  3. Home to 5 colleges/universities, known as the Five College Area.
