Coos Bay, Oregon, Cardiologist Job
Clinical Role:
- Non-invasive Cardiologist responsible for providing cardiology services in inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Clinic rotation: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm, sharing an Echo call rotation including weekend readings.
- Evaluation and management services, interpretation of EKG, Echocardiography, Cardiac Nuclear Imaging, stress Echocardiography, Holter/event monitor, reviewing and signing treatment plans for cardiac rehab patients, performing and interpreting Cardioversion and Trans-Esophageal Echocardiography (TEE). Collaborates with other medical specialties to meet care standards.
- Examines, diagnoses, and treats cardiac diseases broadly.
- Interprets echocardiograms, stress tests, electrocardiograms, TEE, and cardiac monitors following diagnostic standards.
- Performs patient examinations, gathers medical history, subjective and objective findings.
- Utilizes risk calculators, stays updated with new studies, technology, and medications beneficial to patients.
- Determines diagnosis and therapeutic plans based on data interpretation.
- Administers prescribed medications, adhering to state laws and practice guidelines.
- Orders and performs appropriate medical procedures within legal and practice boundaries.
- Educates patients and families on medications and treatments, health, illness prevention, and community resources.
- Maintains accurate patient records and documents all care in electronic medical records, ensuring compliance for billing.
- Triages patient calls, providing consultation as needed.
- May perform additional duties of similar complexity as required.
- Participates in meetings and policy formation for Prefontaine cardiology clinic.
- Remains current with CME, maintains licenses and certifications, and complies with organizational requirements.
- Communicates effectively with colleagues, patients, and administration.
- Maintains professional growth and attendance standards.
- Open to H-1B and J-1 visa candidates; not accepting Locums.
