Cardiology Noninvasive physician employment in Arizona:

COMMUNITY

OVERVIEW

Non-Interventional / Non-Invasive Cardiology reporting to a Medical Director. Join a team of primarily primary care physicians and geriatricians who refer patients. The majority of the caseload involves continuity of care for patients over 65. Responsible for the ongoing development and quality control of the echocardiography program.

DUTIES

• No call responsibilities.
• Six patient slots for AM appointments. Afternoons involve reading echoes, answering patient questions, and providing consults with primary care physicians.
• Assigned medical assistant support.
• No daily travel expectations. Work schedule includes 2 days per week at one facility and 3 days at another.
• Manage chronic cardiovascular diseases, including ordering appropriate imaging or lab tests and recommending treatment plans based on clinical needs.
• Perform and interpret echocardiograms (EKG) for the entire market.

PACKAGE

Compensation: Base salary of $400,000+ in Year 1, with no bonus. Year 2 includes a bonus of 20% of the base salary.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease
• Board Certified in Adult Echocardiography

• Current DEA registration
• Medical Doctor, Board Certified or Board Eligible, with or without US residency, and current US work visa
