Job Title: Interventional and Non-Interventional Cardiologist

Sun State Cardiology is seeking a full-time Interventional and Non-Interventional Cardiologist to join our talented team of healthcare professionals in serving the East Valley/Phoenix Metropolitan Area.

Qualifications:

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Cardiology
• Board certification in echocardiography and nuclear medicine, as well as RPVI credentialing for vascular sonography, is a plus but not mandatory
• Eligible for medical licensing in Arizona
• Proficient in the diagnosis and treatment of coronary and peripheral vascular disease
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Dedicated to the provision of high-quality care to our diverse patient population
  
  

Responsibilities:

• Candidates will be expected to perform a wide range of non-invasive cardiology procedures, including but not limited to cardiac event monitoring, echocardiography, and nuclear stress test interpretation , as well as demonstrate proficiency in coronary and peripheral angiography and subsequent angioplasty depending on your position.
• Candidates will be expected to participate in a dedicated outpatient clinic, as well as obtain privileges for inpatient consultations at hospitals with which we have administrative partnerships, including Chandler Regional Medical Center, Mercy-Gilbert Medical Center, and Banner Desert Medical Center
• Candidates will be expected to stay up-to-date with advancements in cardiology and contribute to improvement initiatives within the practice and affiliated cardiovascular departments
