Job summary

US Heart & Vascular is seeking a Part-time Medical Assistant/Stress Tech Assistant to join NSC Cardiology in Johns Creek, GA. The role focuses on treadmill testing and stress procedures in a fast-paced cardiology setting.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a medical office, familiarity with EMR systems, and knowledge of medical terminology. CCMA is preferred but not required, with Monday–Friday daylight hours offered.

Qualifications

• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) is preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical office.
• Experience in cardiology preferred.
• Experience with EMR (electronic medical records) and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Explains testing to patients to ensure understanding and consent.
• Monitors patients for physiologic symptoms during testing and reports to physician as needed.
• Accurately enters data into eClinicalWorks EHR for stress testing within 95% of overall accuracy.
• Prepares patients for examination by taking vitals and recording history.
• Assists physician with office procedures and schedules tests/consents.
