Job summary

Aurora Medical Group, Summit location, is seeking Medical Assistants or Licensed Practical Nurses to support the care team in ambulatory cardiology settings. The roles involve direct patient interaction, vital signs, specimen handling, and coordinated care with physicians and nurses.

Qualifications

• LPN license is required with BLS for Healthcare Providers (AHA) within 45 days.
• MA requires completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or 2 years of verifiable MA experience in the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs and patient histories.
• Assist providers during exams and procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Document care accurately in the EHR.
