Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent as allowed by state law.
• Typically two years of experience as a medical assistant or in a similar clinical support role.
• Current Medical Assistant certification (e.g., AAMA, AMT, ARMA, NCCT, NHA, NAHP, AMCA) or equivalent per Kettering Health.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supports patient care by performing clinical and administrative tasks in outpatient/ambulatory settings.
• Assists with patient intake, routine procedures, and documentation.
• Ensures a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for patients.
• Performs other duties as assigned in alignment with Kettering Health’s mission and B Safe program.
