Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or MA training program with recognized certification.
• Active national MA certification/registration is required or must be completed.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Previous Medical Assistant experience is preferred; bilingual candidates are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform general Medical Assistant duties in the cardiology clinic.
• Maintain supplies and provide direct patient care under supervision.
• Assist with scheduling, filing, and basic clerical tasks for patient flow.
• Answer phones and route calls as needed and assemble patient charts.
