Job description

Responsibilities

CHI Health is seeking a part-time Certified Medical Assistant / Medical Assistant to join our Cardiology Clinic located at the CUMC-Bergan Campus, near 77th & Mercy. You may also be asked to float between locations as needed.

Clinic Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. No weekends, no holidays, no call. 24 hours per week.

Sign-On Bonus: $3000, paid in full after 30 days of employment.

All Certified Medical Assistants / Medical Assistants must be graduates of a medical assisting program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).

Support Role

This position supports our healthcare teams by ensuring they have everything needed to care for patients. You will play a vital role in shaping the patient experience and preparation during clinic visits. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program (ABHES or CAAHEP)
• Successfully completed a 40-hour Medication Aide course or hold a current/valid certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
