MercyOne is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) or Clinic LPN for the Cardiology Clinic in Mason City, IA. This full-time, day-shift position supports the clinical practice by performing administrative and clinical tasks and assisting physicians in patient care.

The role includes patient preparation, vital sign collection, documentation, and maintaining accurate medical records while ensuring a positive patient experience. 40 hours weekly, Monday through Friday, day shift.

Qualifications

• Must have completed accredited Medical Assistant program.
• MA Certification/Registration preferred prior to hire and required within one year.
• Must have completed accredited LPN program.
• LPN License in the state of Iowa.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and healthcare providers in delivering patient care.
• Prepare patients, collect vital signs, document, and perform basic clinical procedures.
• Coordinate patient flow and maintain accurate medical records to ensure a positive patient experience.
