Job summary

Kaweah Health in Visalia, CA is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse for the Cardiology Center. This full-time role supports patient care on a day shift, under RN supervision, delivering holistic nursing services to diverse patient populations.

The LVN will monitor and document patient data, coordinate with the care team, and uphold patient privacy and dignity while contributing to quality improvement initiatives within the department.

Qualifications

• CA Licensed Vocational Nurse is required.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience preferred in acute care or cardiology.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to patients under the LVN scope of practice.
• Collaborate with the RN and interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient plans.
• Collect and document patient data, monitor vital signs, and report changes.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy in accordance with regulations.
• Deliver care with respect for patient autonomy, dignity and rights.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and policy development as needed.
