Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of practical or vocational nursing approved by the appropriate State agency.

Responsibilities

• Functions as a member of the multidisciplinary team assisting with the delivery of care to patients.
• Administers medications within the scope of the LPN license.
• Documents patient care in the computerized medical record and communicates with patients and staff.
• Supports orientation of new employees and seeks opportunities for self-improvement.
• Advocates for patients and maintains courtesy and professionalism with all staff and visitors.
