Job Description

The School of Medicine - Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Missouri Health Care (UMHC) is seeking an academic Heart Failure Specialist to join the heart failure/cardiomyopathy program. The academic rank will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and career goals.

The qualified candidate will have the opportunity to:

  1. Perform and interpret non-invasive cardiac imaging studies, including echocardiography, cardiac MRI, and cardiac CT angiography.
  2. Participate in clinical and translational research programs within the School of Medicine and across campus, including fields such as Public Health, Veterinary Medicine, and Biomedical Engineering.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Board-certified or board-eligible candidates are considered experienced. Applicants must have an MD/DO and be ABIM BC/BE in Cardiovascular Disease or an equivalent certification.

Candidates will be evaluated based on: ABIM BC/BE in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology.
