Job Opportunity: Non-Invasive Cardiology Physician

Join a well-established group practice located in the vibrant Capital District of New York! This full-time position is available for Fellowship-trained, Board Certified or Board Eligible Non-Invasive Cardiology physicians to work at two renowned hospitals.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate across two facilities: St. Peters Hospital in Albany and Samaritan Hospital in Troy.
• Focus on treating Non-Invasive Cardiology cases and performing procedures in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Demonstrate strong clinical and communication skills aimed at excellent team-oriented care.
• Work shift description: 50% hospital, 50% clinics.
• On-call responsibilities include 1 weeknight per week (primarily telephone consultation).
• Participate in weekend call rotation of 1:5, with APPs supporting weekend rounds.
• Join a respected group, established in 1980, committed to high-quality cardiovascular care with a broad range of services.
• Open to recent graduates working towards Board Certification as well as experienced candidates.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine (Required)
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiology (Required)
• New York State License (or willingness to obtain) (Required)
• Fellowship-trained in Cardiology (to be completed prior to start) (Required)

License and Certification Requirements:

• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Must be Fellowship-trained in Cardiology, with completion prior to the start of employment.
• Must hold or be willing to obtain a New York State Medical License.
