New Mexico - Weeknight Call Only with Long-Term Potential

Low-volume, weeknight-only call coverage still available for an Interventional Cardiologist in New Mexico. Great fit for physicians seeking lighter call with consistent work.

Practice Setting

• 206-bed hospital
• Inpatient only
• 2 RNs for support

Schedule

• Weeknight call only - 5p to 7a
• 12 shifts per month
• 24-hour call response required within 20 minutes
• Consistent month-to-month availability

Procedures and Cases

• Cardiac cath lab, angioplasty, and stents
• TAVR
• Common cases include STEMI, CHF, congenital heart disease
• Average: 2 phone consults, 1 patient seen, 5 admissions per shift

Requirements

• Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology
• Active New Mexico license
• ACLS and BLS required
• Minimum 2 years of experience

Credentialing Requirements

• Credentialing takes 60 days
• Start date anticipated June 2025
