INTERVENTIONAL CARDIOLOGY

NORTHEAST ALABAMA

Excellent position for a Board-certified/Board-eligible Interventional Cardiologist. This hospital-employed position is offered by a 338-bed hospital with a Heart Center, Open Heart Surgery with SICU, 2 Cath Labs, and a cardiac CCU.

DETAILS

The position is available due to growth. Currently, there is no structural non-surgical backup to support structural cases. The group consists of 5 interventional cardiologists seeking a 6th member.

SCHEDULE

• Full Time
• EMR: Paragon (an Allscripts product) used in hospital and all practices—hospital owned or private
• Call is 1 in 6
• Team: 5 interventional cardiologists

This is a non-profit position, eligible through the Conrad 30 and ARC Appalachian Regional Commission programs for rural areas without a cap. Visa physicians (J-1 and H-1B) are encouraged to respond for 2025 and 2026.

COMPENSATION

• Base salary: $550,000 + DOE
• Sign-on bonus: $50,000 at signing and 50% upon start, with 100% for Visa physicians
