Nationally Recognized Heart Institute in Northeast Tennessee Seeking Interventional Cardiologist

Position Overview:

• Physician-led group with 45 physicians and 40 Advanced Practice Providers, covering 14 hospitals
• Join a team at a single location with 35 support staff, including 11 APPs, 6 Interventional Cardiologists, 2 Non-Invasive Cardiologists, Vascular and Thoracic Surgeons
• Inpatient coverage with 2 APPs onsite during the day and 1 in the evening; call ratio of 1:4, primarily overseeing APPs
• State-of-the-art Cath Lab with 3 rooms, all GE and Phillips equipment, including Coronary, Heart, and procedure rooms; performs 5-6 studies daily and 25-30 patient visits monthly
• Outpatient clinic features 20 exam rooms, a Pritikin Intensive Cardiac Rehab, and a seasoned staff
• Lab capabilities include stress tests, Echo, EKG, ECG, TEEs, CT, Nuclear, Holter Monitors, Pacemakers, and more
• Flexible schedule, Monday through Friday, based on your practice preferences

Compensation & Benefits:

• Group employment with a 2-year path to Junior Partner, offering a base salary
• After 2 years, partnership is based on wRVUs, with an average team income exceeding $700,000
• No wRVUs bonus structure; the model emphasizes teamwork
• Annual Quality Metrics bonus exceeding $70,000
• Full benefits including health, dental, vision, and a 403B with 6% employer match
• Sign-on bonus or student stipend of $50,000, plus $10,000 relocation assistance
• 7-9 weeks of PTO, depending on tenure
