Our comprehensive cardiology services and specialty heart care include the region's first accredited Chest Pain (Heart Attack) Center, the only cardiothoracic surgery program in Solano County, and our Heart Failure Clinic. Our expert teams include interventional cardiologists, cardiac electrophysiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, vascular surgeons, and highly specialized cardiac nurses and technologists. We perform many cardiac procedures using non-surgical interventional techniques and minimally invasive surgery, which can mean less pain, smaller incisions, and a faster, easier recovery for patients.

At NorthBay Health, the Board Certified, Licensed Interventional Cardiologist will practice in our highly regarded health system in Northern California. NorthBay Health is ideally located between the San Francisco Bay Area, Napa Valley, and Sacramento, offering residents abundant recreation and leisure options for healthy, active living.

Position Details

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, dedicated procedure time, general and STEMI call required
• Responsibilities: Balanced inpatient and outpatient care
• Call Ratio: General and STEMI call responsibilities
• Patient Load: Manage a consistent daily patient census
• Resources: Access to state-of-the-art equipment, multiple catheterization labs
• Provider Support: Collaborative team of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)

Key Responsibilities

• Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
• Atherectomy
• Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS) and Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) imaging
• IFR/FFR (Instantaneous Wave-Free Ratio/Fractional Flow Reserve)
• Pulmonary Artery Pressure Monitoring Device Implantation
• Peripheral Angiograms: Includes lower extremity arterial and venous, renal, or carotid angiograms
• Emergency Procedures: Cardiac catheterizations for myocardial infarctions, cardiogenic shock, pericardiocentesis, mechanical heart pump insertions
• Coronary Angiograms and Cardiac Catheterization: Left and right heart catheterizations
• Imaging and Diagnostics: Reading echocardiograms, nuclear medicine scans, vascular studies

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Board-certified in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology
• Licensed to practice in California
• Proven interventional cardiology experience
• Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Team-oriented mindset
