Job description

This hospital-employed, 12-physician integrated cardiology practice is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Interventional Cardiologist. Cookeville, TN, centrally located between Nashville, Knoxville, and Chattanooga, offers a strategic location for this role. The new physician will engage in a mix of general cardiology and invasive non-interventional procedures, including exploratory caths.

The practice serves as the only tertiary cardiology program for a 14-county area, known as the Upper Cumberland region. It is the sole STEMI referral center and provides extensive cardiology services. The local cardiac surgery team offers high-quality coronary bypass and valve surgeries, including TAVR, MitraClip, and Watchman procedures.

Practice Details:

• 12-physician collegial practice
• 22 exam rooms in the clinic
• Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Total staff of 65, including 20 clinicians
• Patient volume of 20-25+ patients per day
• Hospital call of 1:7
• Utilizes Athena Centricity EMR
• Offers Non-Invasive, Interventional, Structural, EP, and Cardiac Imaging programs
