Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Night shift at the Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center. The role involves direct patient care, coordinating with the care team, and ensuring high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants must hold an RN license (state or compact) with ACLS/BLS certifications. ADN, Diploma or BSN are acceptable, with a preference for BSN. A sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (state-specific or multi-state compact) is required upon hire.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required upon hire.
• Degrees: ADN or Diploma or BSN preferred; RN licensure within state.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Coordinate care plans with the patient care team to optimize outcomes.
• Document patient assessments, changes, and interventions per policies.
• Educate patients and families on health issues and care plans.
• Contribute to performance improvement initiatives and uphold governance.
