Job summary

Nemours Children's Health seeks an Imaging Informatics Analyst (Cardiology) to join our Wilmington, Delaware team. The role is full-time and on-site initially for 90 days, then 2-3 days per week based on needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree with equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of three to five years of experience preferred.
• Strong software and application knowledge.
• Prior clinical and electronic medical record experience preferred.
• Certification such as CIIP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct on-site support to end users for imaging informatics applications and EMR related to imaging.
• Build, test and validate new functionality and perform configuration activities.
• Analyze workflows, data collection, and report details to optimize processes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization for end users.
• Collaborate with management to plan, implement and evaluate system effectiveness.
• Coordinate system updates and enhancements to support clinical information and business needs.
• Facilitate hardware installation between IT, patient care and business teams.
• Prepare charts/diagrams for problem analysis and submit solution recommendations.
• Manage and coordinate team tasks; maintain issue lists and weekly leadership reports.
• Achieve and maintain imaging application certifications as required.
• Provide on-call and first-line end-user support to elevate proficiency with imaging applications.
• Conduct workflow analyses and assess need for redesigns and improvements.
• Assist in configuring imaging applications for Cardiology and other departments while upholding enterprise standards.
• Support Telecardiology projects including scoping, implementation, and ongoing management.
• Participate in evaluation, testing and validation of new releases and upgrades.
• Develop project management skills and potentially lead cross-team projects.
• Facilitate change management to drive innovation and decision support.
• Respond to Service Now tickets within defined timeframes.
