Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and follow instructions.
• Demonstrates basic nursing/medical assisting skills.
• Comfortable with telemetry and patient care tasks.

Responsibilities

• Independently obtain and record vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
• Carry out medical asepsis and basic procedures such as phlebotomy and catheter care.
• Assist with patient admission, transfers, and discharges and provide personal hygiene.
• Turn, position, and ambulate patients and transport them and equipment.
• Support nursing staff during rounds, conferences, and care planning.
