Our team and state-of-the-art programs aim to create a world-class healthcare organization and the destination center for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular care, including complex structural heart disease interventions, advanced heart failure services, and advanced imaging technologies.

Pulse Heart Institute is seeking a skilled Heart Failure specialist to join our team. Our Heart Failure program is well-established and recognized for providing high-quality, comprehensive care and advanced cardiac therapies to our community and the Pacific Northwest region.


FTE: 1.0  Shift: Day  Schedule: Variable

Base salary: $517,801.00 plus performance bonus, production bonus, and call pay

Position Summary

MultiCare Pulse Heart Institute is seeking a Cardiologist with clinical experience in Advanced Heart Failure and Mechanical Circulatory Support to join our team. Our recognized Heart Failure program offers comprehensive care and advanced therapies, including Joint Commission Certification for Destination Therapy LVAD care since 2018. We have dedicated inpatient and outpatient facilities to manage the full spectrum of heart failure patients.

As a provider within our physician-governed cardiovascular institute, you'll find a collaborative environment with talented teammates committed to quality patient care. Our administrative team partners with clinicians to deliver high-value healthcare across the community and the Pacific Northwest. You will join a collegial team of general cardiologists, interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, and cardiothoracic and vascular surgeons dedicated to excellence in patient care.

Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Advanced Heart Failure
  • Proficient in ECMO, HMIII, short-term Mechanical Support strategies, CardioMEMS, and pulmonary hypertension management
  • Licensed in Washington State by the time of employment
  • DEA, NPI, and prescriptive authority
  • Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association
