Qualifications

• Active ABIM board certification in General Cardiology.
• 3+ years as core faculty member.
• MD/DO with Ohio medical licensure and current DEA license.
• Member in good standing of OhioHealth Medical Staff.
• Demonstrated clinical, teaching, and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide teaching, clinical, and administrative leadership for the fellowship program.
• Oversee program curriculum, fellow advancement, and fellow graduation.
• Ensure a safe clinical learning environment and program compliance with ACGME guidelines.
• Lead program faculty in coordination with DME, evaluating overall faculty competence and effectiveness.
• Physician educator acts as a role model for the OhioHealth mission and values through daily actions, decision making and priority setting.
• All cardiovascular disease fellows and faculty/consultants report to the program director.
• The program director will perform other related job duties as assigned.
