Job summary

Griffin Hospital in Derby, Connecticut is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Professional (APP) to support medical and surgical services, outpatient practice, and hospital-based cardiology and electrophysiology teams.

The APP will also cover stress lab, CCTA, Cardiac MRI, hospital consults, and H&P’s for electrophysiology surgeries, working to develop individualized treatment plans for inpatient and outpatient care.

Qualifications

• Active CT APRN or PA license required.
• CT Controlled Substance and DEA registration required.
• Cardiology experience required; electrophysiology experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage implantable cardiac devices in inpatient setting.
• Provide comprehensive care for patients with arrhythmias and manage anticoagulation as needed.
• Assist with inpatient consultations, care coordination, and management of hospitalized patients.
• Participate in stress lab procedures and remote patient monitoring.
