Job summary

Yale New Haven Health System is seeking a Per Diem Cardiology APP (APRN/PA) for Bridgeport Hospital. The APP will manage pre‑ and post‑procedure cardiac care across catheterizations, electrophysiology procedures, ablations, pacemaker procedures, TEE, and pressure tests, collaborating with cardiologists and nursing staff.

EPIC is the EMR; shifts are 10 hours (6:30 AM–5:00 PM). Requirements include Connecticut APRN or PA license with board certification, BLS and ACLS, and 1–2 years of cardiology

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut APRN or PA license and board certification.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• 1–2 years of cardiology experience as an APP preferred.
• Procedural/cardiovascular setting experience preferred.
• Per diem providers commit to a minimum of two shifts per month and holiday coverage.

Responsibilities

• Manage pre‑ and post‑procedure cardiac care across listed procedures.
• Collaborate closely with cardiologists and nursing staff.
• Perform/interpret stress tests and other tests as needed.
• Ensure documentation per hospital policies and regulatory standards.
