The Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, is seeking an Electrophysiologist to join our Heart Rhythm Services Division.
The Department includes approximately 140 specialists, with about 25 faculty members in the Division of Heart Rhythm Services. The EP clinical practice utilizes 7 procedural rooms at St. Mary’s Hospital, with an annual volume of approximately 1,300 ablation and 1,500 CIED procedures. Procedures include epicardial ablation, LAAO, and device extraction. Faculty participate in in-hospital services and outpatient consultations, focusing on diseases such as HCM, inherited arrhythmias, ARVC, sarcoidosis, amyloidosis, and VDH.
An active educational program exists, with academic appointments. Educational institutions include Mayo Alix School of Medicine, Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education, and the Mayo CME School. Faculty often engage in research across cellular, translational, AR/VR/AI, epidemiology, and multi-center clinical trials.
Several Mayo Centers support clinical, educational, and research missions, including the Center for Digital Health, Biomedical Discovery, Simulation, Clinical and Translational Science, Connected Care, Regenerative Medicine, Health Care Delivery, Health Equity, and others.
Candidates must be BC/BE in cardiovascular medicine and adult clinical electrophysiology and eligible for medical licensure in Minnesota.
