Overview

Prairie Cardiovascular Consultants is seeking a dedicated EP Cardiologist to join our esteemed team in Springfield, Illinois. We are a nationally recognized leader in Electrophysiology Cardiology, offering a unique opportunity for a passionate physician to deliver advanced care for patients with complex cardiac conditions. This role involves collaboration with top-tier cardiologists and surgeons.

Position Details

• 100% EP practice at a single hospital
• Outreach clinic: 1-4 half days per month
• Three state-of-the-art EP labs, including two biplane labs
• Equipment: CARTO, EnSite, Rhythmia, Cryoablation, Farapulse PFA, CRM from Medtronic, Boston Scientific, Abbott
• Hybrid lab available for EP procedures
• Active clinical EP research program, Platinum research site, and Boston Scientific Center of Training
• EPIC EMR system
• Team: 5 EP providers, 16 cardiologists and interventional cardiologists
• EP Director: Dr. Ziad Issa

Requirements

• Unrestricted Illinois medical license prior to start
• Board certified or eligible in Electrophysiology (American Board)
