Enjoy the best of both worlds! Private practice money with academic ties. This established medical group seeks an Electrophysiology Cardiologist to join our well-regarded Cardiology Division. This position supports increased patient volumes. The successful candidate must be Board Certified/Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and Electrophysiology.
The ideal candidate will provide services supporting a full spectrum of cardiovascular testing, including diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, cardiac surgery, TAVR, PVI ablations, ICD and CRT-D implantation, non-invasive testing, cardiac rehabilitation, arrhythmia management, left atrial appendage occlusion (Watchman), and advanced cardiac imaging.
The group has a well-established patient base as the premier Cardiac Center in North Florida. Opportunities include participating in clinical trials, joining a private research institute, and becoming a partner in the practice.
This group practices exclusively at one hospital, which features two full-service EP labs, with a third in planning.
Benefits include private/multi-specialty practice with partnership through a Professional Service Agreement and exclusive cardiology contract. The current team includes 5 interventional, 8 non-invasive/imaging, 4 electrophysiologists, 4 cardiac/thoracic surgeons, and 11 Internal Medicine/Family Medicine physicians.
The group has been active in the community for over 20 years, engaged in research and education. They own and operate a well-developed, independent clinical research institute participating in over 100 clinical trials in the past decade, including new device and pharmaceutical studies.
Physicians also serve as faculty at Florida State University (FSU) College of Medicine and as preceptors for FSU Internal Medicine and Family Medicine Residency Programs.
