Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Electrophysiologist for the Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, UT. Join a regional EP program with two labs and a team of EP physicians and APPs to deliver inpatient and outpatient EP care.

The role includes two procedure days and three outpatient clinic days, with EP on-call responsibilities. Board certification/eligibility and Utah licensure are required.

Qualifications

  • MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Utah MD or DO license for practicing medicine.
  • ACGME residency in Electrophysiology.
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Electrophysiology is required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide EP consults and patient care within the EP program.
  • Perform electrophysiology procedures in two EP labs.
  • Collaborate with 4 EP physicians and 4 EP APPs.
  • Maintain a schedule with two procedure days and three outpatient clinic days.
  • Support on-call EP coverage as part of the 1:5 call rotation.

The EP program at Utah Valley Hospital is a part of an integrated system-wide EP team within Intermountain Health and provides outreach to several of our rural hospitals. Here are some highlights you can expect.This position will be full time, Monday-Friday with a 1 and 5 call schedule that may include holidays and weekends for EP calls only.Patients admitted to the hospital are cared for by well trained and collegial hospitalists, EP Physician is consultant based only.There will be two procedure days and three outpatient clinic days.You will work hand in hand with 4 other EP physicians and 4 dedicated EP APPs.Employment is with Intermountain Medical GroupWork collaboratively with our system-wide cardiology groupEngage with a large referral network of general medicine practitioners and are supported locally by a robust spectrum of subspecialties2 EP labs are equipped with sophisticated mapping systems and ablation modalitiesHow we'll support you:We care about your well-being which is why we provide our caregivers a generous benefits package.
