Job summary

North Mississippi Health Services, Inc. is seeking an EKG Technician to perform physical and computerized EKGs, attach Holter/event monitors, and manage medical order entry within the Heart Institute.

The role requires knowledge of computerized ECG equipment, ability to operate EKG machines, and strong patient communication. Shifts are variable to support 24/7 cardiac care across Tupelo's North Mississippi Medical Center.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification required (DNU CPR).
• Knowledge of computerized electrocardiographic equipment.
• Ability to perform EKG procedures and attach Holter monitors.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical and computerized EKGs and attach Holter/event monitors.
• Scan Holter monitors and enroll event monitors with third party vendors.
• Enter medical orders into the medical record and ensure proper documentation.
• Reconcile orders, finalize electronic ECG reports, and manage inventory.
