Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Instructs, prepares, and pre-assesses patients for EKG tests and cardiovascular monitoring.
• Operates EKG machines and attaches electrodes to patients to obtain accurate heart readings.
• Monitors EKG equipment during tests and troubleshoots issues to ensure optimal function.
• Observes scanner screen for irregularities and prepares data for physician interpretation.
• Records and edits test results, providing preliminary reports to licensed caregivers.
• Maintains patient records related to tests using MUSE and ensures data accuracy.
• Maintains equipment for stress testing and monitoring devices and coordinates with service engineers.
• Provides patient care and addresses questions about cardiac diagnostic procedures.
• Maintains a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Collaborates with healthcare team to verify test results.
