Job summary

Heritage Valley Health System's Cardiology Department seeks a part-time Cardiology Technician to perform EKGs and assist with stress testing across HV Sewickley and HV Beaver locations. Two 7.5-hour days and two 6.5-hour days (Mon, Fri, Tue, Thu) with Wednesday off; cross-campus travel required and flexible hours to cover patient volume and PTO of full-time staff.

Responsibilities include presenting completed exams for physician interpretation and handling related clerical tasks such as filing,

Qualifications

• Must be flexible and easily adaptable to change.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Successful completion of Acts 73 and/or 169 clearances within 90 days, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrocardiograms (EKG) and assist with cardiac stress testing procedures.
• Present the completed exam for interpretation by the physician.
• Perform clerical duties surrounding cardiology diagnostic testing including filing, EKG transcription, reception responsibilities and record management.
