Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Queens is seeking an Echocardiography Technician to support adult patient care in the Cardiology department. You will perform echocardiograms, collaborate with clinicians, ensure patient comfort, and maintain imaging equipment according to standards.

This full-time day shift (36.25 hours weekly) requires a high school diploma or GED, an approved echocardiogram training program, 2+ years of experience, and ARDMS/CCI certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of an approved Echocardiogram Training Program.
• Minimum of 2 years of technician experience.
• ARDMS or CCI Echocardiography certification required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms.
• Collaborate with providers to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
• Maintain equipment and adhere to imaging protocols and quality standards.
• Document procedures and findings in patient records.
