Job summary

Banner Health's La Cholla Cardiology clinic in Tucson, AZ is seeking a CT Technologist. The role involves performing prescribed CT imaging procedures with attention to patient safety and imaging quality. Work Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:30pm, with no nights, weekends, or holidays.

You will follow department policies, verify orders, educate patients, and ensure timely interpretation of scans. Ideal candidates hold ARRT CT certification, licensure in AZ (or WY/NV), and BLS.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT(R) or ARRT(NM) certification or NMTCB(CNMT).
• State licensure for AZ, WY, NV (Radiography/Nuclear Medicine/CT).
• ARRT(CT) certification within 18 months of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform prescribed imaging procedures per orders.
• Educate patients/families about procedures and treatments.
• Produce high-quality images and accompany with relevant patient data.
• Troubleshoot equipment and maintain safety and infection control.
• Maintain confidentiality and ethical responsibilities in radiology practice.
• Ensure efficient department workflow and inventory control.
• Interact with all levels of staff and external regulatory bodies.

Education

Radiologic Technology program certificate or diploma

ARRT(R) or NMTCB(CNMT) certification

AZ/WY/NV state licensure (Radiography/Nuclear Medicine/CT)

ARRT(CT) certification within 18 months of hire
