The University of New Mexico invites applications for an Open Rank Clinician Educator in Cardiology. The role includes dedicated time for teaching, research, and administration, with potential for additional protected time.

You will work in a new ICU/ED/OR tower and may pursue moonlighting income and J1 visa sponsorship at the discretion of the university. Ideal candidates are board-eligible or board-certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Echocardiography, eligible to work in the United States,

• Board certification/eligibility in cardiovascular disease by date of hire.
• Board certification/eligibility in echocardiography by date of hire.
• Eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive cardiology care in an academic setting.
• Engage in teaching medical students and residents.
• Develop sub-specialty interests and participate in research and administration.
