Job summary

The University at Buffalo is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator in Medicine to coordinate multiple cardiovascular trials. You will support investigators in recruitment, oversee day-to-day operations, and ensure protocol adherence while maintaining study data and communication with sponsors.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of experience, a health/science degree, strong data management skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health or science related field or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Data management experience.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology, database design and CRF design, and proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Relations and interpersonal skills necessary for interacting with patients and staff.
• Attention to detail and accuracy necessary.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multiple clinical research studies under the Cardiology section.
• Assist investigators in recruitment and retention of subjects.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring adherence to research protocols.
• Generate accurate reports and manage data entry.
• Maintain contact with Principal Investigator, monitoring agency, sponsor, and vendors.
• Assist with administration of clinical trial protocols, including informed consent and screening.
• Work with multiple departments across UB and Kaleida Health.
• Support the Cardiology Clinical Research Team and travel to affiliate sites as needed.
• Provide weekend coverage as required.
