Responsibilities

• Provides competent health care to patients and families.
• Ensures adherence to established standards of care and scope of practice.
• Performs advanced nursing activities, including conscious sedation assistance, IV placement, and chemotherapy administration.
• Ensures complete and accurate documentation of care.
• Provides health and wellness education to individuals and groups.
• Acts as preceptor and supports development of staff and healthcare students.
• Provides leadership for initiatives to improve care quality and outcomes.
• Assists with development of departmental standing orders.
