Job summary

Avera Heart Hospital is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support cardiology clinic operations in Sioux Falls, SD. The role focuses on order entry, med refills via EMR, patient education, and assisting with rooming and exam room cleanup.

Qualified candidates should be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, hold active LPN licensure (SD/IA/NE or NLC state; MN within 6 months), and maintain current BLS certification. Day shift, regular hours are available.

Qualifications

• Graduate from CCNE/NLN accredited nursing program preferred; approved program acceptable.
• Active LPN licensure in SD, IA, NE or NLC-state upon hire; MN licensure within 6 months.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Enter orders in the computer/EMR as requested.
• Refill medications via the EMR.
• Provide patient education and summaries after visits.
• Assist with rooming patients and cleaning exam rooms.
• Complement nursing requests and other clinic duties as needed.
