Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification in Cardiovascular Disease.
• Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease and Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant Cardiology.
• Experience managing advanced heart failure, transplant patients, and mechanical circulatory support.
• Academic track record appropriate for Associate Professor level.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized outpatient and inpatient care for advanced heart failure, including LVAD and transplantation.
• Manage complex HF cases and optimize guideline-directed medical therapy.
• Evaluate and select candidates for advanced therapies including transplant and durable support.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across cardiothoracic surgery, transplant coordinators, and ICU staff.
• Support post-transplant/LVAD management and longitudinal follow-up.
• Contribute to development and expansion of HF and transplant clinics and outreach.
• Engage in clinical research and scholarly productivity; teach students, residents, and fellows.
