Job summary

Bayview Physicians Group, a large independent multi-specialty group in Coastal Virginia, seeks a Cardiology Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join a growing cardiology team. The role blends hospital and clinic work, with 18 outpatient daily patient volume and collaboration with physicians.

Responsibilities include evaluations, disease management, testing interpretation, and medication management to improve patient outcomes across diverse communities.

Qualifications

• Cardiology Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) with appropriate state licensure.
• Experience providing patient-centered care in inpatient and outpatient cardiology settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations, exams, and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions.
• Order/interpret labs, ECGs, imaging, stress tests and other diagnostics.
• Initiate and monitor cardiovascular medications and therapies.
• Conduct daily hospital rounds and coordinate care with the team.
• Manage an independent clinic schedule under physician collaboration.
• Provide pre- and post-procedure follow-up and chronic condition management.
