Deborah Heart and Lung Center is seeking a qualified Advanced Practice Nurse to independently supervise and perform nuclear stress tests in a cardiology setting. You will monitor patients during testing and recovery, administer pharmacologic agents, and ensure proper documentation and safety protocols are followed.

The role requires an NJ RN license with APN certification and prescriptive authority, plus current BCLS/ACLS.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in nursing from an ANA-accredited program.
• NJ RN license with Advanced Practice Nurse certification and prescriptive authority.
• Current BCLS and ACLS; CDS/DEA requirements within 6 months.

Responsabilités

• Independently supervising and performing stress tests (exercise and pharmacologic).
• Observe and manage patients during test and recovery for ischemia; administer pharmacologic agents as needed.
• Take brief patient histories, review vitals and EKGs, and document test orders and contraindications.
• Assist with QA projects directed by the Nuclear Medical Director; participate in general cardiology duties.
