Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network seeks a Pharmacy Clinical Specialist to deliver safe, effective medication therapy across inpatient and ambulatory settings, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other clinicians.

This PRN role supports cardiology and anticoagulation clinics, participates in education, research, and policy development, and contributes to population health initiatives within its practice area.

Qualifications

• Pharm.D. or BS in Pharmacy with clinical experience required; residency/fellowship preferred.
• Three years in clinical specialty area preferred.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Ohio; must obtain license within 3 months if not current.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient-centered pharmaceutical care across inpatient and ambulatory settings.
• Monitors therapy, identifies drug-related problems, and suggests adjustments.
• Educates patients and healthcare professionals; documents interventions.
• Participates in committees, policies, and drug information activities.
• Supports research and education of students and residents.
