Vanderbilt University Medical Center is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in cardiology for an outpatient role in Nashville. The APP will deliver specialized care across stable and complex cardiac conditions, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

The position emphasizes continuity of care, subspecialty expertise, and participation in evidence-based protocols within an academic health system. Educational opportunities and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• FNP, AGACNP/ACNP or PA required
• Cardiology APP experience strongly preferred
• Experience with inpatient or ambulatory cardiology settings is a plus

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document health histories; perform focused exams and develop plans of care
• Provide primary, acute and complex cardiology care in collaboration with the team
• Order and interpret diagnostic data and manage differential diagnoses
• Prescribe interventions (pharmacologic, non-pharmacologic, surgical) within scope
• Refer and consult as appropriate; facilitate care transitions
• Support specialty consultations within scope of practice
