Qualifications

• NP degree from a US-accredited program.
• Active board certification and a current US license.
• 1+ year experience in cardiovascular management in US settings.
• Comfort with inpatient cardiology consultations and acute care.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient cardiology consultations across El Paso-area hospitals.
• Assess and manage patients with acute and complex cardiovascular conditions.
• Coordinate pre-surgical clearances and discharge planning.
• Order/interpret diagnostic studies and manage cardiovascular meds.
• Document thoroughly in the hospital EMR and participate in on-call coverage.
