BJC Medical Group is seeking a Non-Interventional Cardiologist to join our growing team at Christian Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. The team also covers Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL, just 20 minutes from Christian Hospital.

Practice Overview:
  • Join 9 full-time Cardiologists and 4 Cardiology Nurse Practitioners
  • Growing Structural Program
  • Echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography (including 4D), and stress testing
  • Advanced CTO management and structural and functional MRI services
Position Highlights:
  • Dedicated Medical Assistant and experienced support staff
  • Clinic Monday to Friday; 36 patient contact hours per week
  • Flexible schedule with outpatient and inpatient duties
  • Dedicated APP for inpatient rounding support

Role Purpose

The physician will provide professional medical services within the specialty, including direct patient care, medical records documentation, MyChart consultations, and collaboration with care team members.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with patients, families, and care team for optimal outcomes
  • Perform and document histories and physicals as per hospital bylaws
  • Arrange call coverage for clinic and inpatient care, adhering to policies and standards
  • Collaborate and teach advanced practice providers and support staff
  • This is a safety-sensitive position requiring alertness and safety awareness
Minimum Requirements

Education: Doctorate in Medicine

Experience: Less than 2 years

Supervisor Experience: None required

Licenses & Certifications: Board eligible or certified, licensed physician

Preferred Requirements

2-5 years of experience
