Job summary

Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse, WI, seeks a supplemental Cardiologist to join our collegial group. You will perform TEEs, interpret echocardiograms, and oversee NP/PAs while seeing clinic patients and rotating inpatients in a team-based environment.

This hourly, non-benefit-eligible role requires board certification/eligibility in Cardiology and WI license eligibility. Preference for Level III Echo training and imaging skills such as CT angiography or cardiac MRI.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/eligible in Cardiology; WI license eligibility.
• Familiar with echocardiography (Level III) training.
• Experience in interventional or imaging cardiology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform TEEs and interpret echocardiograms.
• Oversee NP/PAs and coordinate team care.
• See clinic patients and manage inpatient rotations.
• Provide interventional/cardiology services as available.

Job description

Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse, WI, is seeking a supplemental Cardiologist to join our growing practice. The candidate will work with a collegial group of 4 other Mayo Cardiologists to provide team-based care for patients in a Mayo Clinic Health System community hospital, which provides a full spectrum of cardiovascular care including interventional cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology procedures. Preference given to candidates with Level III training/certification in Echo. Additional skills in other imaging modalities are beneficial (e.g. CT angiography, cardiac MRI and nuclear stress testing). Daily responsibilities would include performing TEEs, overseeing several NP/PAs, seeing patients in a clinic setting, and inpatient hospital rotation, in addition to interpreting echos.

This is an hourly, non-benefit-eligible role.

Candidate must be board-certified/board-eligible in Cardiology and qualify for a WI medical license.
