Job summary

SteveRecruiter, LLC invites a Cardiologist to join a Critical Access Hospital team in rural Eastern Oregon. This permanent, full-time role features four 10-hour days, a day shift, and relocation assistance, with onsite diagnostics and a focus on autonomous, high-quality cardiovascular care.

The position offers a competitive compensation package of $600K–$670K+ per year, robust benefits, and opportunities to lead cardiac services within a growing rural health system.

Qualifications

• MD and Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.
• Completion of an accredited Cardiology Fellowship.
• Active, unrestricted State Medical License.
• Commitment to high-quality care in a community-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality outpatient and consultative inpatient cardiovascular care.
• Perform and interpret non-invasive studies including echocardiograms, stress tests, and EKG/Holter monitoring.
• Manage long-term cardiac conditions for the local population.
• Supervision of stress testing in the co-located Respiratory Therapy department.
• Interpretation of cardiac imaging, ECGs, and device interrogation reports.
• Management of implantable cardiac devices.
• Perform minor procedures including implantation/removal of loop recorders, cardioversion, and TEE.
• Partner with primary care providers and the hospitalist team to ensure seamless transitions of care.
• Help shape the future of cardiac services within a growing rural healthcare system.
