Job summary
Veterans Affairs in Martinsburg, WV seeks a Cardiology specialist to provide comprehensive non-invasive cardiac services, including echocardiography and catheterizations, to Veterans. Qualifications
- US citizenship required or eligible under VA policy
- MD/DO degree from LCME/COCA-accredited school or equivalent
- Current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in US
Responsibilities
- Provide expertise in Non-Invasive Cardiology and patient care
- Perform echocardiography, stress echocardiography, TEE and diagnostic cardiac catheterizations
- Consult and treat Veterans; provide education and counseling on preventive care
- Maintain on-call availability and work weekends/irregular hours
- Engage with Academic Affiliations and participate in teaching of residents and medical students
