Altru Health System is seeking a BC/BE Interventional Cardiologist to join our expanding cardiovascular program. With our new Hospital and Heart & Vascular Center opened in 2025, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your practice within a modern, integrated cardiovascular service line.
Thriving, expanding program with strong referral volumes Large, collaborative team including: General, Interventional, and EP Cardiologists Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgeons Extensive APP support Structured schedule with designated lab and clinic days 6 days of call per month Core Procedures PCI, Cath, TEE, cardioversions EKG & ECHO interpretation Viopatch and Holter monitoring Optional (Based on Interest) Peripheral interventions Watchman & CardioMEMS CTA reads Nuclear and cardiac stress testing Loop recorder implants Build the Practice You Want This is a high-volume, growth-oriented practice within a supportive, team-based environment. You’ll have the resources and flexibility to build the type of interventional practice you want.
Evaluates, provides diagnosis and treatment of patients of Altru Health System who present with injuries or illnesses. Counsels patients and advises on preventative healthcare measures. Exercises Doctor's own judgment in the diagnosis and treatment of patients consistent with Altru’s policies and standards. Achieves the Altru Health System Patient Engagement and Quality & Safety goals established on an annual basis. Participates in activities and support department goals as defined by department on an annual basis. Maintains accurate and timely documentation ensuring quality patient care and assurance of appropriate reimbursements to Altru Health System. Performs other duties as assigned.
This position requires proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English to ensure effective communication in the workplace and with patients, families, and team members.
